I sent funds to the wrong address. How do I get them back?
The nature of cryptocurrencies means that once transactions are broadcast to the network, they cannot be canceled or modified. Part of maintaining the finality and immutability in the blockchain means that funds cannot be reversed.
If you would like to know more about “Blockchain Finality” you can check out the UTRUST medium article here: http://bit.ly/2SfoJ2y.
Unfortunately, UTRUST cannot reverse or refund transactions sent to the wrong addresses. Once funds are sent, the only way to retrieve them is with cooperation from the receiving party. This may not always be possible, so it is important to make sure you are sending the right amount to the right address.
