What is 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) or 2-step verification, is an extra security layer added on top of your username and password. With 2FA enabled on your account, you will have to provide your password (this is the first factor) and your 2FA code (this is the second factor) when signing in to your account.
To know more about what is 2FA go to https://authy.com/what-is-2fa/.
Note: 2FA usually involves using an application such as Google Authenticator or LastPass Authenticator on your mobile device or dedicated hardware key. A quick online search should guide you through this process of setting up 2FA on a specific service (check here some tutorials). SMS key codes can also be used, but they are not considered as secure as the other methods so we do not recommend them.
We want to keep you safe every step of the way, so this is important.
